Tigers run over GSL in season opener

A good start, but still ‘a long way to go,’ according to coach Rostberg “We’re 1-0, but we have a long way to go.” That’s what Hutchinson football head coach Andy Rostberg said following Thursday’s 34-6 win over Glencoe-Silver Lake in the season opener in Glencoe. The Tigers rolled overtheir old Highway 22 nemesis using their trademark rushing attack, racking up 305 yards on the ground and 365 yards of total offense.

A reminder to keep games fun

The countdown is getting closer and closer to zero as families and their children have no doubt started looking at the calendar and the first days of school. However, for many schools the first day of school will be preceded by the first athletic competition.
