Victory helps Dragons equal win total of last season With nearly a month to go in the regular season, Litchfield has already equaled its win total of a season ago. And the Dragons did so in dramatic fashion, rallying from two sets down to earn a 3-2 win Sept.

The answer is about 30 days and it’s happening during October when the Military Vehicle Preservation Association, in cooperation with the Jefferson Highway Association, convoys the Jefferson Highway, a 2,500-mile stretch of road that dates to the 1920s. More than 30 privately owned vehicles are expected to participate.
Meeker County Board members received an update during their Sept. 17 meeting on Xcel Energy’s proposed Minnesota Energy Connection, a 180-mile transmission line, which will pass through the county on its way from southwestern Minnesota to the Sherco plant in Becker.
Meeker County commissioners approved the 2025 preliminary budget and levy last week that includes a 3.5% levy increase over the current year. The preliminary levy was set at $17,415,859, while the budget for 2025 will be about $52 million.
