Judy Bonnell Lindell, 85, of New Hope died peacefully December 30, 2024. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for her at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Darwin with a visitation one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will follow at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
Judy, the daughter of Casper and Ann (Jarvis) Bonnell, was born on October 20, 1939, in Fond du Lac, Wis. She grew up in Fond du Lac and after graduation moved to Minneapolis where she met and married her husband of 63 years, Richard Lindell. She was a homemaker who raised five children.
Judy loved her family. They were her life and joy. She was an avid reader and a gifted quilter. She enjoyed nature, especially birds, and spending time with her grandchildren. Judy was an excellent cook who delighted in family gatherings. She will be remembered for her warm smile and all encompassing hugs. Judy will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Judy is survived by her husband, Richard, her children, Mark (Jane) Lindell, Anne (Bill) Herndon, Matt (Shelly) Lindell, Reno (Sara) Lindell, and son-in-law, Chad Wiens, eight grandchildren, Austin, Marina, Wyatt, Zane and Briar Lindell, Zac Anderson, and one great-granddaughter.
Judy was preceded in death by her daughter, Emily Wiens, her parents, Casper, and Ann Bonnell, and her three brothers, Fred, Tom and Jim Bonnell.
