KATHLEEN MARIE TIPKA

 Kathleen Marie Tipka (Loch), 90, of Litchfield passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025. She was born to the late Paul and Gertrude (Looman) Loch on January 18, 1935, in Meeker County.
 A mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 31, 2025, at The Church of St. Philip in Litchfield. Family will greet friends from 5 – 7 p.m. at Johnson Hagglund Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the mass at St. Philip’s. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. at the conclusion of the visitation on Thursday. Kathy will be laid to rest at Ripley Cemetery.
 Kathy graduated from Dassel High School in 1952 and was married to the late Arthur Tipka on September 10, 1955, at The Church of St. Philip. Kathy was active at church and was a member of the Ladies Group for many years. In her younger years, Kathy was an avid bowler, for which she won many trophies. She also enjoyed playing euchre, watching the Twins or Vikings play, and fishing with her family on Island Lake. Kathy had many flower gardens which she loved working in. She also loved watching the birds on the feeders she had in the back yard.
 Kathy is survived by her children, Pam (Scott) Isaacson, Wendy (Brad) Hamm, Dave (Lana) Tipka, and Joe (Nicole) Tipka; son-in-law, Mike Bredeson; 13 grandchildren, Kelly (Isaacson) Beyer, Casey Isaacson, Andrew Hamm, Aaron Hamm, Alex Hamm, Blake Bredeson, Megan Bredeson, Hope Tipka, Alex Tipka, Sam Tipka, Hunter Tipka, Madison (Tipka) Jensen, and Brenna Tipka; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley (Alan) Skalberg, Leanne (Dale) Herman, Patricia (Jim) Fortman; sister-in-law, Doris Tipka.
 In addition to her parents and husband, Kathy is preceded in death by her daughter, Lynn Bredeson; brothers, Paul Loch Jr. and Steven Loch; sister, Rosalie Stearns; niece, Amy Clarke; and nephew, Kevin Herman.
 The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Church of St. Timothy in Maple Lake for all of their care and support.
