PATRICIA JOHNSON

 Patricia Cheryl Johnson, 74, of Glencoe, formerly of Litchfield, died Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Good Samaritan Rehab Facility in Waconia. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Evangelical Covenant Church in Dassel with Pastor Jordan Scott officiating the service.
 There will be a time to gather with the family one hour prior to the service on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Dassel.
 The Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel is in charge of the memorial arrangements.
 Patricia Cheryl (Grund) Johnson, the daughter of Earl and Helen (Emerson) Grund was born on November 19, 1950, in Olivia. Patricia grew up in the Olivia area where she attended St. Aloysius Catholic School in Olivia and Olivia High School. Patricia was baptized and received first communion in the Catholic faith and had attended Evangelical Covenant Church in Dassel at the time of her death.
 On July 11, 1973, Patricia was united in marriage to James O. Johnson in Iowa. Together they made their home in Janesville for a few years before moving to a hobby farm near Litchfield where they had resided until recently moving to Glencoe. Patricia was employed at American Time and Signal as a manufacturing supervisor for several years.
 She enjoyed spending her time sewing, gardening, scrapbooking, and playing scrabble. She was an avid Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Vikings fan. She loved spending time with her family for special events and holidays, especially Christmas. She was an avid collector of Christmas Village, hummingbirds, and angels. She enjoyed having a good time playing tricks and joking around with her family. She loved her family with her whole heart and had a fondness for each and everyone and will be deeply missed.
 She is survived by her husband James of Glencoe, children, Lisa (Dan) Cummins of St. Peter, Michael (Cathy) Meyer of Glencoe, Joel (Dianna) Johnson of Grove City, Todd (Erin) Meyer of Brainerd, and Jessica (Roger) Leung of Dassel, 19 grandchildren, Stephanie Cummins, James Meyer, Logan (Carly) Cummins, Cassidy (Brenden) Swanson, Sian (Zac) Skinner, Justin (Emily) Meyer, Kali (Justin) Farrell, Taylor (Allison) Harrison, Michael Meyer Jr., Rachael Meyer, Troy Petersen, Dani Leung, Cailin Gasta, Kenna Gasta, Cody Johnson, Emalee Johnson, William Johnson, Brianna Pinilla, and Kaleb Pinilla; 13 great-grandchildren, Elliott, Mason, Myles, Paxtyn, Beckett, Rollin, Stettson, Theodore, Lincoln, James, Charlotte, Brynley, and baby on the way, siblings, Gloria Schemel of Spicer, Peg (Bob) Gilchrist of Savage, Gary (Penny) Grund of Olivia, Deb (Vance) Meyer of Prior Lake, Mike (Jen) Grund of Olivia, Jeff (Nicole) Grund of Chaska and sister-in-law Angie Grund of Rosemount along with many loved nieces and nephews.
 She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Maddie Johnson, parents, Earl and Helen Grund, brothers Thomas Grund and Gregory Grund, son-in-law, Tony Gasta, and a brother-in-law, Wayne Schemel.
