Shawn Coleman Anderson of Howard Lake passed away on October 17, 2025. He was born on November 21, 1992, in Renton, Wash., to parents Gregory Anderson and Denise Whidden. Shawn graduated from the Dassel-Cokato High School in 2011 and served in the United States Army from 2013-2014. He enjoyed cooking, building model planes, and spending time in nature. Shawn was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his uncle, Jeff Anderson (Coleen); stepmom, Carol Anderson; adoptive mom, Stephanie Savoy; girlfriend, Hannah Leino; and cat, Solstice. Memorials preferred to Wounded Warrior Project. A memorial gathering will be held at the Litchfield Legion November 8 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
