Alma Lena Anderson, 88, passed away at Ecumen of Litchfield on October 19, 2025.
 Visitation will be at 11 a.m. prior to service at 12 p.m. on Thursday, October 30 at Church of St. Philip in Litchfield.
 Born to Neil and Alice(Pelkey) Steman on January 14, 1937. She attended Catholic school thru the 8th grade and then attended Eden Valley High School. Alma then went to Minneapolis and was employed at Midland National Bank for two years.
 Alma married Arnold E Anderson on November 9, 1957. Daughter Charlotte J Anderson was born in 1958. In 1961 Alma was employed at Economy Gas Company. The company was sold to Thermogas in 1995 and she retired in 1996 after 35 years of service.
 Alma then volunteered some 20 years at Heartland Thrift Store meeting many new friends. She also worked at Anderson Gardens and was the secretary of the board. She spent many hours at her church, helping to organize lunches for all of the funerals.
 Alma loved to travel. She took many bus trips, including Alaska and Nova Scotia.
 She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte J Anderson of Willmar; grandchildren, Seana Barbes(Drew) of Minneapolis Chayla Henle (Michael) of New Ulm and great-grandchildren, Quinn Henle, Mason Henle and Damian Barbes; sister MaryLou Blanchette of Eden Valley, brother Robert Steman of Crystal.
 Preceded in death by her husband Arnold, parents, Neil and Alice Steman, brother Melvin Steman, brother Archie Steman and infant brother Gerald born in 1949.
