LAURENCY MALINSKI

 Laurency (Rennie) Yvonne Malinski, 95, of Litchfield passed away on September 16, 2025. A visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at The Church of St. Philip with a visitation from 9 – 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Litchfield.
 Laurency was born on July 15, 1930, on the family farm at Le Center to Bernard and Veleta (Ely) Beer. She was baptized, confirmed, and attended country school at St. Henry. She graduated from McKinley High School in Le Center. On February 20, 1950, Rennie married Harold Malinski. They farmed together in Le Sueur County until 1959 when they bought their farm at Grove City. In 1978 Rennie and Harold moved to Litchfield. Rennie worked at Meeker County Memorial Hospital for over 30 years.
 Rennie loved her family, gardening, baking kolaches and angel food cakes, China painting, and doing family histories. She was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. Auxiliaries, Daughters of Isabella, and several China painting groups. She owned and operated Rennie’s China Closet and Arts in downtown Litchfield for 10 years.
 Rennie is survived by her sons Michael (Cynthia) Malinski, Gregory Malinski and Daniel Malinski; granddaughters Christa Malinski, Jennifer Malinski (Mitch Wilson), Angela Malinski, Bridget Malinski, Michelle (Mitch) Carrigan; great-grandchildren Lainey, Cody, Kimber, Arlin, Levi, Jerold, Troy and step-great-grandson Owen.
 She is preceded in death by husband Harold; daughter Anne Marie; parents Bernard and Veleta; sister Phyllis; brothers Bernard and Willis; and great-grandson Chase.
