Students from Park elementary learned about well-behaved pets and young readers as they explored the Hutchinson Public Library in a school-community project. After reading in school about a frog visiting the library, students in Jodi Drew’s second-grade class gathered their favorite silent pets, put on their listening ears and brought along their good manners for a day of exploring their world for free.
