Some Dassel residents who spend winters in warmer climates brought one of their favorite activities home for the summer. Musicians Scott Kargas, Craig Kay and Bill Ward were inspired by the vibrant dance scenes in Texas and Arizona retirement communities.

According to the “2024 Cost vs. Value Report,” the following are five projects that provide a strong return on investment.
“It’s just like that scene in the Wizard of Oz!” Victoria Anderson said as she gazed into the sky at the hot air balloon floating above Harmony River in Hutchinson. The former Harmony River employee was among many who watched as the balloon recently made an early- May appearance in a field nearby the senior living facility on the southeast side of town.
