FFA members place at state
Three members of the Hutchinson FFA chapter competed at the Minnesota State FFA leadership contests Dec. 9-10. Paisley VonBerge earned a third-place finish in public speaking, and Weston Witte took third in the FFA Creed contest.

HUTCHINSON POLICE BEAT
Hutchinson Police Services responded to the following incidents: Dec. 4: Report of a hit-and-run accident in the parking lot of Pizza Hut, 1310 State Highway 15. The incident was believed to have occurred the day prior between noon and 6 p.m. The rear of Comes Investments Inc.âs 2016 Ford Focus was struck by an unknown vehicle with such force that the vehicle was moved approximately 1-2 feet. No suspect at this time.
City Council finalizes cannabis ordinance
After a year and a half of discussion, regulations for producing and selling cannabis products within the city of Litchfield are finally set.
