Financial incentives for adoptive and kin guardianship parents might help improve outcomes for children leaving the state’s foster system, according to a June study of changed Minnesota policy. The study focuses on payment equalization policy, which was part of Minnesota’s January 2015 Northstar child welfare policy reform.

The Biblical tale of Joseph and his prized coat is an ancient one from the Old Testament, but it won’t feel and sound that way when Litchfield Community Theatre presents the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” by Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice. “It’s a popular show for audiences and multiple generations,” said Tim Nelson, director and musical director.

The young hen suggested opening a restaurant. The pig thought that was a fantastic idea and then asked what their specialty meal would be. The hen replied, “How about ham-negg omelets? We can both contribute our part.”The pig thought for a moment and said: “No thanks. I would have to give up everything, whereas you would only give a contribution.”
