School Board reviews LARC use agreement

As their city counterparts awarded first bids for construction of the new Litchfield Area Recreation Center at a meeting across town, Litchfield School Board members spent much of their Monday meeting reviewing and debating a use agreement for the facility. Business manager Jesse Johnson reviewed a red-lined version of the agreement, which he said has been developed with the city and includes input from the Minnesota Department of Education and other state officials.

Looking back at a royal year

Like many of the young women who participate in the Miss Litchfield program, Ayda Granlund grew up dreaming of someday wearing the crown. Last year, that dream became reality as Granlund was crowned Miss Litchfield 2023-2024 during the Watercade coronation.
