Ridgewater dean’s list for spring semester

To be included on Ridgewater College’s spring dean’s list, a student must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and be enrolled in at least nine credits and meet certain other criteria. REMEMBERING THE FALLEN

Even though threatening weather forced cancellation of the parade and one outdoor ceremony, it did not stop Litchfield residents from paying their respects to soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice. Litchfield veterans organizations led a Memorial Day service early Monday at Calvary Cemetery, then went indoors at Litchfield Opera House for the traditional larger community service.

20 YEARS AGO: NEWS FROM THE ISSUE OF JUNE 3, 2004 A few lines from a 1974 state law that prohibit cap and gown fees for graduates have made headlines this spring, after a Woodbury mother called the oversight to the attention of the Minnesota Department of Education. While area schools aren’t receiving a lot of calls about it, the situation is causing some to rethink their policies.
