Drive-ins and the threat to clean cars
When I first took possession my car, it was pre-owned but it felt brand new. Thus, in earnest, filled with pride, I declared: No one will eat in this car! And everyone laughed. They thought it was a grand joke. But it was not a joke. I meant what I said and I said what I meant: No one will eat in this car! By “no one,” of course, I meant The Wife and kids. Yes, humans, especially the small ones will get hungry and cry for food. No problem. We will stop what we are doing, pause where we are going, and find somewhere and eat.
